Who runs DEATH TO SEO, and why it’s independent
DEATH TO SEO is run by Peter, who spent about 15 years in B2B demand generation, most of it as the buyer of agency services. We don’t build websites and don’t sell retainers by default, so we have no stake in whether your redesign, Google, or AI killed your traffic.

Who runs it?
Peter, the founder. About 15 years in B2B demand generation, most of it buying agency services.
Why does independence matter here?
When traffic drops, the team that built the site tends to blame Google, and the SEO agency tends to blame the redesign. Each has a stake in the answer. We don’t build websites and don’t sell retainers by default, so the verdict goes where the evidence points.
How do we make money?
From the prices on our pricing page: the Autopsy, Rescue, the Recovery Program, Launch Cover and Watch. The Cause Check is free. If the Autopsy says the loss is mostly structural or unrecoverable, we say so, and we don’t sell you the Recovery Program.
How we work
- Site before Google. We check what your site changed before we blame an update. The method.
- Evidence before payment. The free Cause Check shows dates, URLs and counts before you spend anything.
- Prices in public. Every product and price is on the pricing page.
- Guarantees where we control the outcome. The Autopsy is refunded in full if we miss three business days. Rescue’s second half waits for our crawl.
- AI gets named. When AI answers are taking your clicks, we say it, and we don’t sell a fix that doesn’t exist.
- Cases, not claims. Our evidence is four public cases, checked from the outside, with every number shown. The case files.
What do we never promise?
Rankings, traffic recovery, AI citations, or any timeline that depends on Google.
